Muhammad Ahmed, CFA
Chief Executive OfficerMuhammad leads Merix Global's strategy and client relationships. He brings +8 years of sell-side and buy-side equity research experience across frontier and emerging markets, including roles as Divisional Head of Research at UBL Funds (~$490M AUM, Investment Committee member) and Director of Research, Sell-Side Equities at Akseer Research, where he led a 16-analyst team covering Saudi and Omani public equities. Muhammad is a CFA charterholder and ACCA member, with a degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.
Jawad Amjad
Co-FounderJawad brings +28 years of investment banking and private equity experience to Merix Global. He co-founded Invisor Securities, serving as CEO through 2011, and founded PNO Capital in 2017. He currently serves as CEO of Optimus Capital and holds an MBA from LUMS.
Arsal Imran Abbasi
Managing Partner, Sell-Side EquitiesArsal leads Merix Global's sell-side research practice. He previously covered Saudi Healthcare and Retail Pharmacy at Akseer Research and held a research role at UBL Funds. He has passed CFA Level I and holds a degree from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi.
